Steadly Covid 19 is gaining grounds in Ghana. In less than fourteen days Ghana has recorded 9 cases.

As contact tracing increases, more cases are being recorded. The general public is nervy. The authorities are still advising the general public to take the precautionary measures.

Ghana just recorded another COVID 19 case, taking the total number to 7. Its another imported case, this time from France.

The 35 year old male who is a Ghanaian traveled to the country from France in the last 14 days.

This case was recorded in Accra. He is currently stable and in isolation. He made contact with at least 350 people and contact tracing have begun.

A total of 143 suspected cases have been tested so far.

The video below shows how rapid this virus can spread without our knowledge.

Taking preventive measures like frequently washing your hands with soap and using hand sanitizers will go a long way to save a lot of lifes. Avoid touching your face unnecessarily.

The virus looks like a crown under microscope and Corona means crown, hence the name, Corona Virus.

There are other viruses in the corona family. That is why the one we are currently faced with has it’s unique name, COVID 19. ICTV announced “severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)” as the name of the new virus on 11 February 2020.

Covid 19, also known as the Corona Virus, has been in Ghana for a week and has already infected six people. This has forced the President, on Sunday 15th March, to suspend all Public Gatherings for the next four weeks, and all schools, be it public or private will be closed till further notice. This starts from Monday 16th March, 2020.

BECE and WASSCE candidates will be allowed to attend classes to prepare for their exams. This will come with prescibed protocols.

Its a sad Sunday as the people of Sogakofe woke up to the news of their Assembly member’s death.

Mr. Adzahli Mawutor has alellegely been shot and killed at his residence.

The assailants broke into his home to make away with his savings. He allegedly struggled with the assailants and got shot multuple times in the process. According to information gathered by Joy News, the assailants used about 45 minutes to break the door to get into the house while distress calls were made to the police were to no avail. 

 

.After the incident, the residents angrily stormed the police barrier and chased them out. They have massed up at the police station as well.

And they have blocked the main Sogakofe-Aflao road causing a lot of traffic. No arrests has been made yet in conncetion to the murder.

News reaching us says the talented and hard working Ativo has been dropped.

Holali Ativo is a striker for Kumasi Sports Academy. She was recently given a call up to the camp of the Black Queens for her exceptional talent and hard work. She had high hopes of making it big and proving herself in the national colours but her dreams have been cut short. Holali was sent home from the camp due to her sexuality. Her mother, Victoria Ativo told Happy Fm her daughter has both male and female organs, a hermaphrodite. Holali is home right now and needs some financial help to undergo a surgery to correct her current state.

The formal world champion is super angry his principles were broken by his experienced trainer.

Apparently Deotay Wilder had no plans of giving up even though he was knocked down twice. But to his surprise his trainer, Mark Breland threw in the towel in during the 7th round of the bout in Las Vegas. Wilder in an interview with yahoo said,

“I am upset with Mark for the simple fact that we’ve talked about this many times and it’s not emotional. It is not an emotional thing, it’s a principle thing. We’ve talked about this situation many, many years before this even happened. I said as a warrior, as a champion, as a leader, as a ruler, I want to go out on my shield. If I’m talking about going in and killing a man, I respect the same way. I abide by the same principal of receiving”.

Wilder says he will activate his rematch clause for a third fight.
